I1 Corona Immunitas Eastern Switzerland

The Corona Immunitas East study investigates the spread of the coronavirus in the general population of Eastern Switzerland. The study population is composed of randomly selected individuals living in the cantons of St. Gallen and Grisons. The study focuses on two age groups: Children and adolescents aged 5-19 years, and adults aged 20-64 years. In addition, household contacts are examined to determine the risk of transmission between persons living together. In addition to providing a blood sample for an antibody test, participation in the study includes periodically filling out online questionnaires to compare disease signs, risk factors and protective measures taken with the antibody results.
